Beautiful house, warm and luxurious with great food. Best of all were the yoga and sound healing sessions that Maria delivered. They were amazing. I had not expected to enjoy so much yoga in one weekend, but I’m a convert. I needed time out and this retreat was perfect.

This was my 2nd weekend retreat with Maria of Roaming Spirit Yoga Retreats, and it was simply wonderful. From a warm welcome on arrival and meeting the others on the retreat, to the beautiful venue complete with log fires, the wonderful catering, local walks and of course the yoga. There’s a schedule but it’s not regimented, the atmosphere was relaxing and I think I speak for everyone that we were all sad to leave. I felt like I’d been away for a week, loved every minute and I look forward to booking my next one.

A wonderful opportunity to reset for the winter ahead.
Beautiful location and accommodation with fabulous hikes all around. Maria’s yoga classes are challenging, restorative and reflective in equal measure.
An autumn treat in every way.

This was a wonderful retreat, the hall is beautiful, decorated to a very high standard in Victorian style with a cosy sitting room with a log fire for the evenings and a large room for the yoga. Maria’s yoga was lovely with a calming flow in the mornings and relaxing restorative yoga in the evenings.
We had an exciting walk in the mountains with spectacular waterfall views, which was fun even in the rain. The food was great as was the company. I highly recommend Maria’s retreats.

Absolutely amazing yoga & walking weekend away with Maria, The group of women I met were lovely, I loved the yoga session in a morning and the restorative yoga in an evening was my favourite. Definitely book again for next year. Although it rained it didn’t stop us from walking, socialising around the fire after dinner was also wonderful taking about anything like us woman do.
Thankyou Maria for making me feel so welcome.
