1. Yoga Retreats (UK & Overseas)
Cancellation, Payment & Travel Policy
This policy applies to all residential yoga retreats, including overnight stays in the UK and abroad.
Deposits & Payments
- A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place on the retreat.
- The remaining balance is due no later than 10 weeks before the retreat start date.
- Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in loss of your place and deposit.
Participant Cancellations
- Deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances.
- If you cancel more than 10 weeks before the retreat start date, you will not be required to pay the remaining balance.
- If you cancel within 10 weeks of the retreat start date, the full balance remains payable, as accommodation, staffing, and retreat costs will have already been committed.
- If you are unable to attend after the balance has been paid, no refunds can be issued.
You may transfer your place to another person with prior approval, provided all retreat requirements are met.
Travel & Insurance (Essential)
- Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all retreats, including UK retreats with overnight stays.
- Insurance must cover:
- cancellation
- illness or injury
- personal travel disruption
- Proof of travel insurance will be requested 8 weeks before the retreat start date.
- Failure to provide insurance details may result in your place being withdrawn without refund.
Travel Arrangements
- Participants are responsible for arranging their own travel to and from the retreat location.
- Flights and transport are not booked or managed by the organiser, with the exception of overseas retreats, where an airport transfer may be arranged and details will be provided in advance.
- The organiser is not responsible for delays, cancellations, or changes to travel plans.
Weather, Activities & Itinerary
- Retreats include activities such as yoga and walking, which may take place outdoors.
- Activities may be adapted, modified, or rescheduled due to weather conditions, local circumstances, or group needs.
- Changes to the itinerary do not constitute grounds for a refund.
Cancellation by the Organiser
- In the unlikely event that a retreat is cancelled by the organiser, all payments made (including the deposit) will be refunded in full, or you may choose to transfer to a future retreat.
- The organiser is not responsible for any additional costs incurred, such as flights or personal travel arrangements.
By booking a retreat, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this policy.
2. Retreat Events, Day Retreats & Community Activities
Terms & Conditions
This policy applies to non-residential events, including:
- retreat days
- morning sessions
- social walks
- litter picks
- workshops and half-day events
Bookings & Payments
- Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise stated.
- Your place is confirmed once payment has been received.
Cancellations by Participants
- Cancellations made more than 7 days before the event may be eligible for a refund or transfer (at the organiser’s discretion).
- Cancellations made within 7 days of the event are non-refundable, as costs will have already been committed.
- Non-attendance on the day, or cancellation with short notice, is non-refundable.
Weather & Outdoor Activities
- Many events take place outdoors and go ahead in a range of weather conditions.
- Decisions to proceed are made by the organiser based on safety, venue conditions, and the ability to deliver the event.
- If an event goes ahead as planned, refunds cannot be offered for participants who choose not to attend due to weather or personal travel concerns.
- Individual decisions about travel and participation are the responsibility of each participant.
Health, Safety & Responsibility
- Participants are responsible for ensuring they are physically able to take part in the activities offered.
- Please inform the organiser in advance of any relevant health conditions.
- Participation is at your own risk.
Cancellation by the Organiser
- If an event is cancelled by the organiser, participants will be offered a full refund or transfer to a future date.
- If an event is postponed, you may transfer your booking or request a refund if the new date is unsuitable.
